The Son of Budgie Update
I hope everyone enjoyed Season 5 of Freedom Lane as much as I enjoyed writing it. We saw Rose’s father stop by for a visit, Dutchie get his nuts chopped, Tony try his hand in a business venture with the Garcias, Helen’s priest take an interest in Helen’s mode of worship, a trip to the movies, and Da’Quarius spending some time with the Fuchs. I don’t want to give too much away, but I’ve already written season 6. It will premiere in mid to late October, and it will be kicked off with a Halloween special! Here is the episode listing (subject to change):
There another big special coming to this site. In two weeks, I will premeire a project I began with BluntSharpness (of Freedom Lane fame) and Weird Herold (as he is known as twitter). I’ve teased this before on my twitter feed. It features Karl Malone, Steven Seagal, Brian Bosworth, and Hillbilly Jim in Jazz and Legaes: Hard as Fuck Vendetta.
Don’t want to wait two weeks? Don’t fret. I’ll post a trailer next week, so you know what’s coming. This is made-for-TV movie length, so it may be a little intimidating, but it’s worth it.
Also, I have two short stories (Seven Minutes and Phantom Puppeteer) coming up soon, my Fresh Prince Vs. The KKK fan fiction (yes, I actually wrote it), and a piece of rejected content I wrote called “Where are they now: Saved By The Bell edition). For those of you who don’t know (and most of you wouldn’t); I began writing for a content provider (think of those shitty ads disguised as pop culture articles on Facebook… That’s right. I failed at writing those).
I’ll move onto Budgie ebook news next. Eve Brigid of Eve Edits has been working tirelessly on Draken: Son of Drog, which will be my next ebook. This is my longest work to date, and it’s been in the works for the better part of a year (I did take a break to put out the Valentines for Doomy book, so that was a four or five month delay). It’s finally coming together, and I hope to have a final version in the near future.
Those of you who read Askharoth know this character already. For those who haven’t: Draken is the son of a High Demon named Drog. This book starts off where he ended in Askharoth (but you don’t have to have read Askharoth to pick this one up). Draken (who was referred to as the Unnamed Son of Drog in Askharoth) finds himself in a strange land, far north of the land he once knew. The people there think he’s been sent by what they call the Old People, and it’s his destiny to save them. Draken does not agree, yet he is compelled to stay. All the while, we get glimpses of Draken’s past and upbringing, from the time he’s a child up until the events depicted in Askharoth.
That’s as much as I’m willing to divulge for now, but there’ll be much more updates as I come closer to completion. Maybe I’ll have the cover art on here for my next update in October (someone nudge Mr. Watts for me… *wink wink*).
Also, I’ve begun working on my first short story collection; tentatively titled: Dusk: Volume 1. I’ve started editing (and doing a lot of rewriting) a lot of my older short stories that I posted back in 2014. This tome should have 13 stories (some posted on my site and some not), and be available sometime next year. I got Vile Child to do some art for the cover, and I’m stoked to work with him.
So that’s it for now. All this should leave you salivating until December. I have more ideas for short stories that I haven’t even started writing yet. Some demon stuff, some mermaid harem stuff, some more demon stuff, and more. Also, I write these TheBulge pieces as the come to me, so maybe more of those in the future. I also have an idea for a book called 50 Shades of Shemale I may work on post Dusk: Volume 1, but my outline still needs work… I know my audience is clamoring for a follow-up to Desperately Seeking Shemale!
Until next time, Budgie fans!!
P.S. I know I promised some big news a while back, but big news takes time. I haven’t given up, but I have hit a few roadblocks. I’m plowing on through and and taking a few detours. Like the mantis, I will remain patient. Some things just cannot be rushed.
